How was our bean paste bun born?

English⇔Japanese

"I want to create a special and memorable bean paste bun which pleases His Majesty," Yasubei said. "Many Japanese people regard bread as a foreign food. I want to make them more Japanesque," Eizaburou said and beat his brains out. "How about putting salted double cherry blossom petals into our bean paste bun? Cherry blossoms are a representative flower of this season too," said Eizaburou. "That's a good idea! Let's do it right away," Yasubei agreed. They made a unique bun of sakadane dough with smooth red bean paste and salted cherry blossom petals ordered from Yoshinoyama Mountain in Nara, which is known as one of the best cherry blossom viewing places in Japan. The petals and smooth red bean paste went along well and it became a rich taste bun. "We did it! I hope this will please and satisfy His Majesty," said Yasubei. This is how our Sakura Anpan was born.
